The group of 53 porters from a small village in Uganda has been on a four-year long journey to achieve their dream of building a resort near the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Their mission is to create a sustainable source of income for their families, preserve their cultural heritage, and provide employment opportunities for their community.
The funds raised through the campaign will be used to support several aspects of the project, including the purchase of construction materials, the hiring of local labor, the training of youth in hospitality and the marketing and promotion of the resort. The group is committed to using the funds efficiently and transparently and will provide regular updates to the donors on the progress of the project.
Join us in supporting these 53 porters in achieving their dream and creating a better future for themselves and their community. Your donation will not only help to build a resort but also preserve a cultural heritage and provide sustainable employment opportunities.
